Leadership can be a lonely place. We only really talk about our failures once we’re successful. On the surface, it seems like we’ve got it all figured out, but the daily reality can be a lot of doubt and ambiguity.

In our first Clubhouse, it was inspiring to hear so many different voices opening up about times they fucked up and how they’re leading through uncertainty.

Thanks to Robyn Ward, Anne Seebach, John Dandeneau, Catrinel Bianca Frătean, Shawn Harvey, Daniel Härtsfelder, Mustafa Yücel, Barbara Werner, James Beston, Kony Salmeron, Dr Buloala Lilly-West, Madeline Farquharson, Gabby Alziari, Joshua Stehr, Jacek Brozek, Victoria Njau, Aizhan Akysheva, Dominique Jost and Clemence Debaig for your openness and contribution!

The Fuckups — there were many!

I couldn’t have said it better than Madeline from our team: “The fact you’re in a leadership fuckups room shows you’re wanting to be better for yourself and your teams.”

Here’s just a handful of fuckups we shared:

  • Charging ahead without getting buy-in
  • Failing to let go of a project…
